The hotel food was very good. Scenery was stunning.
Unfortunately, about 10 days before our arrival their had been very strong winds, which had blown off part of some of the chalets roof and consequently our bathroom smelt rather due to the rain having got into the roof space. We did feel that it would have been nice to have been informed of this before we arrived. We realise that the weather is beyond the hotels control.

I have stayed at Loch Melfort Hotel several times in the past when passing through this area choosing this hotel primarily because of its beautiful location. I also enjoy the peace afforded by the rooms in the extension where you can come and go without entering the main building. As a bonus the room rates are quite reasonable too. Unfortunately I have not yet had the opportunity to spend more time here but will rectify this sometime.
